Closed Doors Can Be A Blessing Too

You know, Helen Keller was a pretty smart cookie. She faced a lot of trials and tribulations in her life, but she was able to overcome most of them with a positive outlook and a smile.

closed doors create opportunities.

Sometimes a door in life closes for a reason. Those "curve balls" are often God's way of getting us back on track in life. Let's face it, we think we know best. But who are we kidding? We don't. God is in control. We forget that sometimes; but it's the little curve balls in life that help remind us of His grace and blessings.

Let's stop focusing on what isn't and look ahead to what will be! God surrounds us daily with so many beautiful blessings and opportunities, but how often do we take the time to notice? We often run around like crazy little chickens. There's always so much to do and never enough time.

Find a moment and focus on happiness. Count your blessings. Let that refresh you so you can get through the day. Then wait for the next door in your life to open. Be patient, it might take a while, but it will open. I promise. And when it does, it's gonna be more spectacular than you could ever imagine. Why? Because God is so good!

Psalm 46:10 - "Be still and know that I am God."
