Grace Is A Gift

Today is a grace day for you and me! Don't you just love grace days? I wish I gave myself more of them. I'm learning to make quiet time a priority in my schedule. Quiet time with the Lord. And just quiet time in general to think, to pray, to breathe!

Grace is a gift!

Today, let's chill, look at the week ahead and see if we can find some time in our busy calendars to spend more time with Jesus. Even if its just five extra minutes a day. And make a little time just for YOU while you're at it! Easier said than done, right? But this girl needs a manicure, stat!

Grab a cup of coffee, relax and catch up with the past week of posts, along with the daily challenges I've created for you to explore and deepen your walk with Jesus.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,"
Ephesians 2:8

The Daily Grace Challenge

Read Ephesians 2: 1-10.
Reflect on what theologian Charles Spurgeon has to say about grace:

"Learn, then, that if you take Christ out of Christianity, Christianity is dead. If you remove grace out of the gospel, the gospel is gone. If the people do not like the doctrine of grace, give them all the more of it."

Excerpted from sermon #2185 "OUR MANIFESTO" 1891. It's an excellent read, Consider it a bonus daily challenge if you have time to ponder his thoughts today!
