Living A Life Laced With Grace

embracing grace: finishing well

My mama always said, "time flies when you're an adult." I thought she was crazy when I was a kid, because back then it felt like a year lasted an eternity. But she was spot on. It's funny how our perspective changes over time, isn't it? And how busy we become as adults?

I can't believe it's the final day of the write 31 days challenge. I never thought I'd write a long series like this. Mostly because I wasn't sure I'd have enough to say to fill the pages each day. And especially because I had no game plan at all going into this challenge. It was totally a 'fly by the seat of your pants' thing and I am so not wired that way. It was good for me to shake things up a bit and challenge myself.

How often do you feel like you fall short in your life? Whether it's in parenting or your marriage, or just even in your friendships with other women?  I often feel like I fall short in all these categories and more.

Embrace The Grace Necessary To Finish The Race

I have learned through all the craziness of the past few years alone, just with our struggles related to infertility, that when faced with life's challenges, you need to embrace the grace necessary to finish the race. Ignore the lies of the enemy that hold you back from being all that God created you to be. Which is way easier said than done. It takes time in God's Word, embracing Truth and accepting the beautiful gifts of His grace and mercy to fight through the lies we hear in our heads, as well as the ones that are embedded deep within our souls.

Thank You For Being SO Awesome

I just want you to know how thankful I am that you have subscribed to my little corner of the online world! Or that you pop online every now and again to see what I'm writing about. You bless me immensely with your visits and comments. I have a plan in my head that is working itself out as we speak for what's next after these 31 days of writing this October. But for a few days at least, I'm going to rest. Rest in Jesus. His plan for me and this online world. I don't know where it will lead, but I do know it will be all about Jesus, not all about me.

Is it time for you to rest in Jesus too? Stop spinning your wheels trying to control everything and rest in His plan for your life. Take time today to read Scripture, embrace Truth, pray unceasingly and ask God to help direct your path. Even when you don't know where the road will take you.
